"Personal information" means any information about a living individual as defined by Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (name, date of birth, and other identifiers), as well as email addresses, user IDs, and attribute information (age, family structure, etc.) used in combination with such identifiers.

We collect personal information only to the extent necessary for business operations, by lawful and fair means.

We use personal information for the following purposes within services provided on this site (including those of registered companies and partners, collectively the "Services").

Cookie and IP address information alone cannot identify an individual, so they are not treated as personal information by themselves. When combined with personal information, however, cookies and IP addresses are treated as personal information.

On media operated by us, when cookie or IP address information is used — even if individuals cannot be identified — we disclose the purpose and method. Cookies can be declined via your browser settings.

Measurement of Site Usage
To make our pages easier to use, we measure, on pages such as our product pages, collection pages, basket and payment guidance page, which parts are displayed or clicked, whether actions (such as adding to the basket, estimating shipping or sending an enquiry) were completed, and how far visitors progress through the checkout. We also record the display language, the screen-size category, the country or region selected on the site (Japan or overseas), whether the visit comes from an in-app browser (such as Instagram or LINE), and whether the basket contained an item that could not be purchased.

In this measurement, we do not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, postal address or telephone number. Nor do we record anything you type or your search terms, and we do not store IP addresses. Any identifiers used for this measurement are stored in a form that cannot identify you.

The data is kept on servers we manage (using services provided by Cloudflare, Inc.) and is used only to improve this site and our selection, in a form that does not identify you. It is not shared with third parties or used for advertising, and it is deleted after approximately 13 months. For visitors from regions where consent is required, such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we measure only after you have consented to analytics.

When you add an item to your basket, a record of which parts of its product page were shown or clicked (for example, "Measurements" or "the third photograph") is stored on the server described above. We also record which item was added, and the type of page it was added from (for example, a product page or the search results). When an item is removed from your basket, we record which item was removed. This record is not attached to your order. To see whether an item was eventually purchased, we match it using an identifier for your basket, converted so that it cannot identify you. This record is used only to understand what information is checked before a purchase, and whether an item added to a basket was later purchased or removed from it; we never identify customers in order to analyse them.

Analytics and advertising measurement tools
This site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, and the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Using cookies and similar technologies, these tools collect information such as the pages you view, the type of device and browser you use and the progress of your checkout, and send it to each company. We use this information to analyse how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Third parties, including Meta, may also collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet and use it to measure and deliver advertising. Information sent to these companies is handled in accordance with their own privacy policies.

You can stop Google Analytics from collecting your data with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). You can change interest-based advertising from Meta in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or opt out at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/. You can also refuse cookies in your browser settings.

We manage personal information appropriately and do not disclose it to third parties except in the following cases:

• When the customer has given consent.
• When disclosure is required by law.

We may disclose personal information to payment processors for identity verification, billing confirmation, and credit assessment.

We take comprehensive security measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information.

If you wish to inquire about, correct, or delete your personal information, we will respond after verifying your identity.

We comply with applicable Japanese laws and other norms regarding personal information, and review and improve this policy as appropriate.
