A scarce piece worn by French Military forces during the Indochina War.
Designed in 1944, inspired by the British Military Battle Dress Trousers.
Subsequently produced in minimal quantities between 1945 and 1949—a special piece indeed.
That specimens survive at all feels almost miraculous.
The aftermath of the Second World War saw many factories shuttered and destroyed, which accounts for the limited production run.
The silhouette mirrors the early M-47 pattern—a straight cut that carries an understated, masculine character suitable for casual wear.
