Special Air Service (SAS) is a special forces specializing in infiltrating and sabotaging major facilities (communications, transportation, etc.) within enemy territory during the mechanized modern war.

The term "Air" can easily be associated with the Air Force, but it is actually an army unit and was born during World War II with the assumption that airborne operations could enter enemy territory.

The biggest feature of this individual is its one of the most unique "camo pattern" and its "exquisite fabric" reminiscent of Ventile cotton.

The "Windproof" pattern was first introduced into the British army in 1942 and was adopted as a variation of the early Dennison smock brush stroke camouflage.

Designed primarily for use in Scandinavian Europe and manufactured using roller printing machines, this pattern generally features a brush stroke in a color scheme of dark brown, brown, pink tongue and olive green.

This pattern was issued as a lightweight two-piece infantry oversuit, and as mentioned above, it was intended to be mainly provided for infantry reconnaissance units and snipers during World War II.
It was used in particular by Special Air Service, and this pattern continued to be used until the 1970s.

At that time, the excess inventory was also given to the French government, and suits were also provided to combat units during the First Indochina War.

This individual was designed as an overgarment to block cold winds and water, and is made from extremely high density cotton gabardine fabric reminiscent of Ventile cotton.

Normally, the pullover type is the original, but this individual will be modified to a zip-up, fully open type.
I guess that the sewing and old zip fasteners are used, but rather than being modernly modified, it was modified by soldiers to make them easier to wear at the time.

Although the same British military signature "Denison Smock" has been found many individuals that have been modified by soldiers at the time, so I think the same applies to this individual.

The large flap patch pockets with a total of four exposed buttons, arranged diagonally at the chest and hem, are extremely impactful.
The sleeves have reinforced patches made from the same fabric as the rest of the smock all the way to the elbow, with adjustable size tabs and buttons placed on each cuff.

The front is zip-up with a zip zipper.
The zip slider uses a U-shaped zipper made by "AERO".

Drawstrings are included at the neck and hem.
By narrowing the drawstring, the silhouette can be changed, so please feel free to change it depending on your mood when wearing it.
