This is the first one used by the British Special Air Service.

Special Air Service (SAS) is a special forces specializing in infiltrating and sabotaging major facilities (communications, transportation, etc.) within enemy territory during the mechanized modern war.

The term "Air" can easily be associated with the Air Force, but it is actually an army unit and was born during World War II with the assumption that airborne operations could enter enemy territory.

"Airborne Troops Denison Smock" was given as a uniform worn over combat uniform during World War II.

"Denison Smock was provided to Special Operations Enforcement Agents, Parachute Regiment, Glider Pilot Regiment, Air Landing Regiment, Air Station Squadrons, Commando Units, and other Federal Airborne Forces.

It was worn over the webbing equipment of airborne descent soldiers, but its main purpose was to prevent the wearer's equipment from getting caught while descending or jumping, so it was worn under the parachute pack and harness. It was there.

Speaking of Dennison Smock, its biggest feature is the large impact, with the "Brushstroke Camouflage," the earliest camouflage pattern adopted by the British Airborne Division in 1942, and is decorated throughout the entire piece.

The inner tag has faded over time and is no longer readable, but from each detail, it can be assumed that it is the so-called "2nd Pattern."

The back of the collar is lined with an angora wool, making it highly functional, like a military jacket.
