This particular specimen, bearing this tag, is believed to be the first of its kind to arrive domestically.
A first viewing for myself as well. With few examples known to exist, much remains undocumented, though it is understood to have been worn for racing purposes.
A belt strap at the collar allows for an upright collar stance, lending a particularly distinguished presence when worn in this manner.
The PVC leather carries a weight and gravitas comparable to natural leather, with substantial heft throughout. Unlike leather, it requires minimal maintenance—a practical advantage worth noting.
The fastening employs a Lightning zipper.
Light surface patina present, yet the condition remains remarkably preserved for its age. The zipper operates smoothly, indicating this piece remains wholly wearable.
The quilted lining shows no tears or deterioration—well-maintained throughout.
The sizing runs generous, accommodating larger frames without concern.
Constructed with raglan sleeves, this cut allows even modest oversizing to drape gracefully across the shoulders. Those of slighter build will find it equally accommodating.
